Why Are We Launching This Program?

Mentorship has played an important role throughout the professional journey of Wineitupanotch founder Anshu Grover, both as a mentor and a mentee.

Before establishing herself as a wine professional, educator, speaker, writer and entrepreneur, Anshu built an extensive corporate career, progressing from junior roles to senior leadership positions. Today, she holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma (DipWSET), Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), Masters of Accounting and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA) designations, and also participated as a Stage 1 candidate in the prestigious Master of Wine study program.

Having experienced firsthand the value of mentorship, as well as the challenges of career transitions, continuous learning and building professional networks, Anshu is keen to share her experience and help others pursue their own ambitions in wine.

The program is founded on a simple belief: mentorship doesn't always need to be formal or highly structured. Sometimes, having an experienced person to exchange ideas with, ask questions of, or turn to for perspective can help open doors to new possibilities.

The program is intended for people actively pursuing wine education or careers in wine. Whether you're already working in the industry, studying toward an advanced wine qualification, or working toward entering the wine industry, this opportunity may be a good fit for you.

All are welcome to express interest. We particularly encourage those who have historically had less access to mentorship, professional networks and opportunities to apply.

Who Is The Program For?

Selected mentees will receive four one-hour virtual conversations with Anshu over approximately four months, focused on their individual interests, goals and challenges.

Conversations might explore wine education and study strategies, career direction, professional development, networking, personal branding, navigating the wine industry, or other areas where Anshu's experience might be helpful.

The mentorship is informal, friendly and mentee-led. Anshu's role is to share experience, offer perspective and act as a sounding board—not to provide all the answers.

Please note: The mentorship consists of four scheduled conversations and does not include ongoing advice between sessions, guaranteed introductions, employment opportunities or specialized professional counseling.

What Does The Mentorship Involve?

Interested? Express Your Interest.

Wineitupanotch is currently inviting expressions of interest for the inaugural group of mentees.

Places are very limited. Expressions of interest will be reviewed personally by Anshu, who will select a small number of individuals she believes she can meaningfully support.

To express your interest:

  1. Download and complete the Expression of Interest form.

  2. Save your completed form as a PDF.

  3. Email it to wineitupanotch@gmail.com, using the subject line ‘Wineitupanotch Mentorship - Expression of Interest’.

There is presently no application deadline and applications will be reviewed as they are received. Please note that submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee a place in the program.
