Taking You Behind the Scenes
Dear Reader,
I thought I’d take you behind the scenes at Wineitupanotch.
Summer has been a blissful reprieve from the usual business of life, with slower and longer days and more time with family. Of course, I’ve been dipping into plenty of wines along the way! I’ll do a recap of recently tried wines soon.
A reprieve doesn’t = a vacation, however. There’s still been lots of activity at the Wineitupanotch HQ!
Episode 56 of the podcast has now been published, and we will be publishing Episode 57 in the next day or two.
There is also a new article on our website, discussing English wine. I’m not sure if you know this, but the wines of England and Wales are causing quite the stir with wine experts around the world and production is expanding, with some big names from other parts of the world moving into the scene. Exciting times ahead, I’m sure. Read the latest article on the Wineitupanotch website to learn more.
I’ve been toying around with the idea of doing another “30 Days of Wine Facts” campaign. I think I’m going to do it - I think it’s a great way to share knowledge. So stay tuned! (And I’d love to hear from you if you have a POV on this project - send me a note or a DM!).
Cheers! xx
ANATOMY OF A WINE LABEL
The Wineitupanotch “Anatomy of a Wine Label in 60 Seconds or Less” series is a popular one. I always receive a lot of positive feedback whenever these videos are published.
The idea is to help people better read a wine label by breaking down its component parts and explaining where the most relevant and valuable information is located.
Our most recent “Anatomy of a Wine Label” video helps you quickly identify a Super Tuscan. To be honest, I always found the Super Tuscan category confusing - but learning this one little trick helped quite a bit.
I hope you enjoy this video, and find it useful! Click below to watch.
